Kyla Sheldon, PA-C: Kyla received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University in 2014. She started with Spring Hill Family Medicine in August of 2014. Kyla grew up in Emporia, Kansas. She received her Bachelors in Biology at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas and now lives in the Kansas City Missouri area. Kyla enjoys going to the Downtown City Market, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
Samantha Schroeder, PA-C: Sam received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University in 2010. She worked in Southeast Kansas for four years at a rural health clinic and critical access ER and hospital. She joined Spring Hill Family Medicine in May of 2014. Sam, along with her husband and two young children, moved to Spring Hill in July. Sam grew up in Wellsville, KS, and is excited to be back in the area and closer to her friends and family.
Jerad Widman M.D: Dr. Widman received his medical degree from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine and is board-certified in Family Medicine. He is proud to have served Spring Hill and surrounding communities for more than 10 years now. He serves as the Medical Director for Interim Hospice. In December of 2011, he became the first physician in Kansas to qualify for both NCQA Level III Patient Centered Medical Home and Diabetes Recognition status.
Dr. Widman and his wife Micaela have 6 – yes, count ‘em – 6 children, ages 16 to 4. They’ve had four boys, followed by two girls and have lived in Spring Hill since opening Spring Hill Family Medicine. Their family enjoys spending time together in the wonder of God’s majestic nature. Dr. Widman does some occasional coaching for his boys’ baseball teams.
